Combat 360X La Paz gets ready to welcome BJJ Blackbelt Coach Wade Henderson

From the beginning of March, Combat 360X in La Paz, Baja California Sur will be welcoming Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, Wade Henderson to our coaching family.

Wade was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1981 and started training Muay Thai, MMA, and BJJ in 2000. After numerous training camps in Thailand, in 2007, He was offered the position of  assistant MMA/Grappling coach at the world famous Tiger Muay Thai training camp. Whilst in Thailand, He won both the Bangla Stadium and Patong Boxing Stadium World Muay Thai titles.

Wade is a Black belt in BJJ under 6th degree Master Romero Adolfo (Renzo Gracie affiliate).  

Amongst his highlights are

3 gold and 1 silver medal at the Southeast Asian grappling games in Bangkok

3 bronze medals at the Pan Asian grappling games in Manilla, Philippines

Gold at the South African ADCC trials in 2013

As a professional MMA fighter for 23 years and having won numerous MMA titles, fighting all over the world, Wade retired in August 2023 with a submission win 53 seconds into the first round in his last fight at EFC africa.
