Starting a training camp in a new country is exciting, but it's also a big change for your body. At Combat 360X, our goal isn't simply to push you as hard as possible—it's to help you get the most from your experience while staying healthy and injury-free.

Day One – Arrive and Settle In

Your first day is all about getting comfortable. You'll meet the team, settle into your accommodation, have a look around the facilities, and get an overview of the training schedule.

If you're arriving after a long journey, don't worry about trying to do everything immediately. Hydrate, eat well, and let your body begin adjusting to the climate.

Your First Training Sessions

From your first class, you'll be welcomed into our community regardless of your experience level. Whether you've never thrown a punch before or you've been training for years, every session can be adapted to suit your ability.

You'll quickly discover that Combat 360X is supportive, challenging, and focused on helping you improve every day.

My Advice: Ease Yourself Into Training

One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to do absolutely everything from the moment they arrive.

Personally, I usually recommend easing yourself into the training sessions during your first few days.

When you combine long-distance travel, a hotter climate, changes in sleep, different food, and a significant increase in training volume, your immune system can temporarily take a hit. That means you're at a greater risk of picking up an illness or suffering an avoidable injury if you try to do too much too soon.

There's no prize for burning yourself out on the first day.

Instead, I'd much rather see you build momentum and finish your week feeling stronger than when you arrived.

But What If You're Only Here for One Week?

Of course, I also understand that not everyone has the luxury of spending several weeks with us.

If you're only visiting for one week, it's completely understandable that you'll want to make the most of every training opportunity.

Many of our guests find a routine that works really well:

  • Monday: Train all available classes.

  • Tuesday: Train all available classes.

  • Wednesday: Recovery day—relax, explore La Paz, go sightseeing, enjoy the beaches, or simply give your body a chance to recover.

  • Thursday: Return to full training.

  • Friday: Finish the week strong with another full day of classes.

For many people, this balance provides the best combination of hard training and adequate recovery.

Listen to Your Body

Every guest is different.

Age, fitness level, previous injuries, training experience, sleep, hydration, and recovery all play a role in how much training your body can handle.

We'll encourage you, motivate you, and push you to get the best out of yourself—but only you truly know how your body feels.

There's a difference between healthy fatigue and pushing through something that could become an injury.

Learning to recognise that difference is an important part of becoming a better athlete.

More Than Just Training

Your week at Combat 360X isn't just about the hours spent in the gym.

It's about recovering by the pool, exploring the incredible scenery around La Paz, enjoying good food, meeting like-minded people from around the world, and leaving with new skills, improved fitness, and memories that last long after you've gone home.

Whether you're here for a week, a month, or longer, our aim is simple: help you train hard, recover well, and leave healthier, fitter, and more confident than when you arrived.
